Really good food, great service, and good drinks. View was very nice from the indoor seating. However, the menu is very limited at the moment. Nevertheless, the limited food they have is on point delicious. They did say they would go back to regular menu soon.

While staying at the Current hotel, after we arrived we decided to grab some drinks and some food. The bar area was a little full and we saw this restaurant barely had anyone inside so we decided to give them a try ! Well we weren’t disappointed with our decision. Service was great, drinks were good and food was amazing, we ordered the lobster ceviche tostadas and the crab cakes which were to die for!!! So delish! I highly recommend this restaurant.

Excellent ambience, food, service! Sea bass with black rice was amazing!!! Some of the best rice I've ever had! My husband's steak was perfectly done!

Food was so amazing. I had the lamb and the Mac and cheese and it was one of the best meals ever. Mojito was good too. Very tiny restaurant but very pretty

With anticipation, I ordered the signature shrimp and grits, a dish that promised to tantalize my taste buds.As the plate arrived, my eyes widened with delight. A mound of golden grits, studded with plump, succulent shrimp, was artfully arranged. Each shrimp, perfectly cooked, exuded a subtle spice that danced on my palate. The grits, creamy and comforting, provided the ideal canvas for the flavorful shrimp.With each bite, I was transported to a culinary heaven. The combination of textures and flavors was simply divine. The shrimp, tender and juicy, complemented the rich, cheesy grits flawlessly. The subtle spice added a delightful kick, elevating the dish to new heights.As I savored the last morsel, I couldn't help but smile. This breakfast experience was more than just a meal; it was a culinary journey that left me feeling satisfied and content.

Stopped by for breakfast and ordered the Ybor Bowl. Everything was perfectly cooked: the eggs were fluffy and most, the potatoes were light and crispy, and the combination of saltines from the chorizo, sour from the pickled onion, and sweetness from the hollandaise sauce were perfectly balanced. I would definitely come back to try other dishes on the menu.

During our stay at the Current Hotel we celebrated our 27th Anniversary. I made reservations at the Julian and they delivered with great attentive service and amazing food. Small, but adequately laid out where you feel you have the privacy for great conversations to take place during dinner. Kudos to the chef and our great server.

Spent my 21st birthday dinner here. Beautiful place, they set the tables for the reservation very neatly and even gave me birthday napkins as a nice touch. The chilean seabass was impeccable. Tasted like butter, and perfectly cooked and paired with the black rice. The bread and dip appetizer was also so great. Would recommend for a nice evening, had a lovely sunset view that day too.
